Would you believe over a million individuals both young and old receive the frightening diagnosis of skin cancer. It is the form of cancer that most ignore and feel they will never be affected by or skip any testing assuming they would certainly know if they had skin cancer. Due to that exact justification of so many folks, it has become the most common cancer form. This form on cancer can come in the form of a growth on or over an organ which is referred to as carcinoma, or the form that develops over any other area called basal cell cancer. The basal form is the one that is a direct result of sun exposure and all those rumors are actually true regarding those who have lighter skin do have an...

Tips on Armpit Sweating Prevention Without Surgery
How to stop underarm sweat How many of us talk about excessive armpit sweating or sweaty underarms. None, I guess! We actually hate to admit, we all have this problem. It's a visual embarrassment and a smelly issue. Before we go on understanding the methods on "how to stop armpit sweating without surgery", it is important to understand that sweating is one of the ways in which the body regulates our body temperature and keeps our skin moisture intact. I understand the anxiety, but just to reiterate we sweat more when hot...
People from across the globe are condemning the Human Rights violations of the Sri Lankan government, and civilized society is fighting hard to establish a level of justice for the Tamils. Having the opposition leader behind bars makes Sri Lanka a criminal and a failed state. List of Evidence: People's Permanent Tribunal found Sri Lanka GUILTY of war crimes and Genocide. UN's Human Rights Chief is critical of Lankan government Human Rights records. U.S. Human Rights report accused Lankan rulers for the Human Rights violations. For your reference, I am attaching...
A Primer on Police Misconduct
Police officers are considered to be vanguards of a city's law and order. They are trained, appointed, and funded by the government to protect citizens from all forms of misconduct, violence, and crime. The most controversial aspect of their responsibilities is the authority to use force. They may use force to control and disperse a crowd, make an arrest, or perform other daily routines for surveillance. However this authority to use force should only be used within the boundaries necessary to resolve a certain disorder, other than that it attracts the attention of the public, the government, and the media as another case of police misconduct. Police misconduct has attracted the media's attention...

Balochistan: Invisible to the International...
When a western reporter Declan Walsh from “Guardian News Services” asked a native Baloch at Dera Bugti Foj Ali about the Pakistani rulers. His answer was clear, “it is a great injustice. They (Pakistani rulers) are making billions of rupees pumping gas from our land to the rest of the country, and we are still using fire wood.” Indeed there are today thousands Foj Ali from all over Balochistan asking the same questions to the international community. Such historic root causes of Balochistan must not be ignored and should certainly be considered prior to signing the gas pipelines or any other mega project within the occupiers of Balochistan. The anger is increasingly mounting among Baloch...
United Nations: Its Contribution to the...
Once I travelled from Eastern Balochstan, Pakistan to the Western part of Balochistan, Iran to offer my condolences to a family who lost their loved one. It was a short one and half hour drive. As soon as we reached the famous Goldsmith border line which has been drawn back in the 19th century, Balochistan was divided among Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan by the British Empire’s “divide and rule” policy. Baloch leaders have referred such border as “artificial.” In fact, these artificial borders are very unpopular among the Baloch people due to many decades of tyranny that has been pressed upon them. Indeed Iran and Pakisrtan have both failed to win the hearts and minds of the...
Quest for Democracy in Ethiopia
When Dr. Meqdes testified before the House Subcommittee on Africa on March 29, 2006, she was thinking of her father, Professor Mesfin Wolde Mariam. Professor Mesfin, a prominent Ethiopian human rights activist, has been incarcerated in Ethiopia since November of 2005. In thinking of her father and his situation, Dr. Meqdes also wondered why the United States is not doing more to help democracy in Ethiopia. As she stated in the hearing, "Honorable Members, for more than three decades, my personal and family life has been impacted by what my father has committed in his faith and belief that Government belongs to the people and that these fundamental freedoms that we all seek are a necessary...
Gitmo - The Least Worst Place
In the wake of September eleventh, the U.S.-led "War on Terror" began with nearly the entire world sympathetic to America's cause and condemning al-Qaeda. It didn't take long for the Bush administration's ham-fisted response to reverse much of the world's feelings in the matter. Among the most influential of the policy disasters that won the sympathies of so many for al-Qaeda was the detention facility at Guantanamo Bay. In The Least Worst Place, Karen J. Greenberg, director of NYU's Center on Law and Security, takes a close-up look at the first hundred days (from December 2001 thru March 2002) in the life of Camp X-Ray, the initial detention facility for prisoners from the invasion of Afghanistan...
Why Nonprofits Need Strong Taglines
Your Nonprofit's Name Alone Isn't Enough You've got to explain in a few words what your nonprofit does, and why it's valuable. That's the job of the tagline. Many organizations expect their names to broadcast what it is they do. Trouble is, it just doesn't happen that way very often. One reason why is that many nonprofit names sound alike. Another is that audiences frequently confuse the work of organizations focused on the same issues - think Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International. Where Your Tagline Fits In The tagline is one of the four vital components of your branding portfolio, along with your nonprofit's logo, overall graphic look and feel, and positioning statement. Take a look at my...

We stand with victims and activists to prevent discrimination, to uphold political freedom, to protect people from inhumane conduct in wartime, and to bring offenders to justice. We enlist the public and the international community to support the cause of human rights for all. Ken Roth is a former litigator and...
Anna Politkovskaya's Killing - Is The Mystery...
On 7th October 2006, Anna Politkovskaya was murdered outside her home in Moscow. The 48-year-old mother of two who was fiercely critical of the Kremlin's actions in Chechnya was found shot dead in a lift at her apartment block in the capital of Russia. A pistol and four bullets were found near her body. Ms Politkovskaya's murder had all the hallmarks of a contract killing for which Moscow had become notorious. Anna had been known for her pioneering reporting and in particular her commitment to the people of Chechnya for which she won international recognition for her passionate reporting on their conflict in which she exposed human rights abuses. Unflinching in her narration of contemporary Russia...
Free Tibet
p>As part of my ongoing vision to Be Better, Be More, I have been moved by the recent events and the current situations surrounding the issue between China and Tibet, the exiled people from Tibet, China's appalling human rights record and the bringing together of the worlds greatest athletes, or the Olympics. The Olympic torch has reached India today (17/04/08) prompting Indian authorities to both shorten the planned route and to completely secure the Capital, New Delhi in an effort to disrupt anti-China demonstrations by exiled Tibetans living in the country. The Torch has had its journey disrupted entirely so far, from its lighting in Greece on March 24th to San Francisco and now India...
China: Challenges and Commitment
> China is a huge place, of that there is no doubt. With over 1.3 billion people it faces enormous pressures and challenges that only the people of Asia and the subcontinent can truly understand. This was brought home to me again recently when talking to a Kazakh friend of mine in Shanghai about the Avarian Bird disease currently threatening China. All this very intelligent and educated man could offer as to the why’s and where’s was the intonation too many people, too many people This analysis may sound simplistic to the scientists and medical experts who attempt to understand and contain the spread of this disease but, sometimes, simple analysis is best. China has huge...
Third World Governments Playing the...
More and more third world nations are making deals with the Chinese for resources and trade. Especially rogue nations that lack human rights standards we've come to expect in the world. When the US puts "strings attached" to trade deals, money, and loans it makes with these nations, they rarely follow the treaty or deal, and more often than not they do not pay back the loans from the UN, World Bank, or United States either. Worse, when China witnesses this friction, they run over to make a deal with the government promising them deals that the Chinese have no intention of making good on, in trade for raw materials and often oil. The third world dictators, or nation-states, see this as a bargaining...
Community Services Workers Program - Dare to...
Do you want to make a difference in the society? Do you dare to think and act in a manner that is out of the box? If yes, go for Community Service Worker Program. The program empowers a person to empower those in need and act as a channel between them and those by whom they are affected. A Community and a Social Worker can prove to be beneficial in many ways to the community nowadays especially in the wake of increasing incidence of violence, human rights violations and injustice. In fact they are now an integral part of every aspect of the human services field, which covers fields as mental and physical health, psychology, society and human rights and a plethora of related fields. As a Community...
In 1945, the United Nations Organization (UNO) was established to avoid a new world war. Another goal of the UNO was to eradicate poverty in the developing countries. This goal was and is still is a very important reason for the existence of the UNO. The most important 'instrument' to fulfill was the creation of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) or better known as the 'World Bank'. In October 2005, the UNO celebrated its 60th anniversary. What has it accomplished in terms of eradicating poverty in developing countries? The sad truth is that 80% of the world population controls only 20% of the world's resources; this means that 20% of the population controls 80% of the...
Me to We - A Concept Whose Time Has Come and Gone
The phrase "Me to We" brings out thoughts of altruism and giving. It makes us think that there are others out there we need to be thinking about too. It also speaks to the materialistic world around us and helps us imagine a life with larger horizons. There is actually an organization out there called "Me to We" in Canada, they help the children of the World. Helping the Children of the World is by far one of the greatest philanthropic things you can do, there can be no doubt about that. But, let me explain the flip side of this concept. There is a horrific hideous side to the slogan "Me to We" let me explain. When I first came to their website, wow, I was impressed at all the wonderful things they...
First Amendment Rights
The First Amendment (Amendment I) to the United States Constitution is part of the Bill of Rights. The amendment prohibits the making of any law impeding the infringing on the freedom of speech. Something that important, one would think amending or impinging on those rights would be screamed by every newspaper, radio and TV station in the land. So why is it, I only read it in The Nation? Where is the outrage? Where are the protestors? You can be sent to jail for fifteen years merely advocating for peace and human rights according to the Supreme Court of the United States ruling. The court ruled on June 21, 2010 that the First Amendment does not protect anyone advocating, including speech, assistance...
The Way to Promote Integrity
The euphoria that greeted the nomination of an academic maverick and a union leader of high repute, Professor Attahiru Muhammadu Jega as the new chairman of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has virtually overshadowed the undercurrent circumstances that threw him up. Personal integrity was the principal characteristic canvassed by Nigerians of various shades of opinions and political ideological leanings for a man or woman that would be saddled with the responsibility of conducting the 2011 general elections. It was a firm belief of all such Nigerians that it is only a person with personal integrity that would conduct elections that would be considered reasonably as free, fair and...
The quality of our breath has substantial effects on so many aspects of our health and wellness. From a purely scientific standpoint, the process of inhaling and exhaling fully cleans our bodies of toxins and ensures that we continue fueling our organs and blood with needed oxygen for daily living. The value from a scientific view is undeniable but there is another component beyond that which is well expressed in a powerful quote by Thich Nhat Hanh a well respected Zen Master, poet, peace and human rights activist. "Breath is the bridge which connects life to consciousness, which unites your body to your thoughts." Both scientifically and at another level of consciousness beyond the explainable...
North Korea - What's Going On?
Are things getting any better in North Korea? Yes, in some ways. But we're not ready for a "Weight Watchers" program there yet. The crisis is far from past. The Amnesty International Report of 2005 cites the following human rights situation in Chosun. Always remember that what is happening to the population at large is happening to your Christ-filled brothers and sisters too. You'll soon see it is no time to stop praying for them. My condensation of the report: - Public executions continue. Those who proselyte or practice in the underground church are some of the victims of these executions. - Anyone seen to be in disagreement with the government faces severe punishments. - Access to international...
Google Says No to Censorship of Search Results
While checking out my twitter account I came across two very interesting pieces of news related to Google and its policy with China. Google launched its Google.cn in January of 2006. Google created its China branch due to pressures from the Chinese government which wanted to censor Google search results. Google's policy has always been to never censor search engine results. However, as stated on the Google blog, it was decided that: "...the benefits of increased access to information for people in China and a more open Internet outweighed our discomfort in agreeing to censor some results. " Since then the climate in China has changed. In mid-December of 2009, Google noticed a rather sophisticated...
A Winner of the Nobel Peace Prize - Bishop...
As one of the most important members of the anti-apartheid movement in South Africa, Bishop Desmond Tutu trivia is an important part of the history of that country. Born in the Transvaal in 1931, Tutu was living in Johannesburg by the age of twelve. He started by becoming a teacher but he decided to change his occupation when the Bantu Education act was passed which was going to greatly limit the educational opportunities for black South Africans. He would then turn to the study of theology, and a Bishop Desmond Tutu quiz lists 1960 as the year in which he was ordained into the Anglican Church. He would study in London for four years in the sixties, and would return to South Africa to help to try to...
Why Fair Trade Tea? In 2009, tea workers in Sri Lanka (where Ceylon tea is made) were protesting for higher wages. They were seeking to double their wages--to $4.50 for a day's work. That's comparable to the price of a box of 20-50 teabags of inexpensive tea in most supermarkets in America, and far less than the minimum wage for an hour's work in the U.S. Even with the lower cost of living in Sri Lanka, according to the BBC News, almost a third of these workers were living in poverty. Fair trade is a principle that aims to address this problem, not just in the production of tea, but in the production of agricultural products, clothing, and other products imported into wealthier nations such as the...

Fighting Employment Laws - Strike Blocked
The United Kingdom has clear employment laws, which have been modified in recent months. The new government has examined certain regulations in the labour force. There are changes coming and one of these modifications may be a result of a recent strike blocked. The National Union of Journalists are about to fight the European Court after they decided to stop a strike from occurring by Johnston Press. A solicitor as part of the case is preparing a case. It is going to challenge the UK in the European Court on the basis of human rights violations. The violation the lawyer is outlining in the case states the news group was prevented from having a strike because of technicalities that go against...
Psychiatry - The Nightmare of the People
Abstract: In this paper I want to review the investigations from the Citizens Committee for Human Rights in Mental Health. It is this organisation in the United States and other countries that have consistently brought the dangers of psychiatry to the attention of the general public who by and large are the victims of a marriage between pharmaceutical companies and their paid distributors of lethal drugs, psychiatrists. This alliance has been based on the greed for money, profits and kudos all in the name of a science that as one leading authority called - "hokum" Introduction: A Short History The history of psychiatry is strewn with the deaths; torture and misadventure that would make any sane...
A China Olympics may have occurred early in Chinese history. Sports in China may actually have started several millennia before. As a cradle of history and diverse culture, Chinese sport has unique features of its own. The Chinese exercised life preserving arts using a combination of coordinated body movements and mental strength distinct from other sports showcased around the world. Hence, ancient sports play a big part for shaping the face of China we see at present. Now, China Olympics has become a reality. It can be noted that last July of 2001, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) had selected China, specifically the city of Beijing, to host the Olympic Games for the summer of 2008...
Conflict Diamonds - What Do They Mean?
Conflict diamonds are essentially diamonds that are sold or traded in exchange for arms which are then used in either human rights violations or some kind of terror or warfare. The reason why they are a major issue is because of the guilt associated with purchasing a diamond whose value went to the purchase of arms and subsequent violence against innocent civilians. In addition, there are constant reports of violence against those who work the diamond mines or live in countries where diamonds are mined. However, the history behind conflict diamonds is quite complex and is linked to various regime changes in Africa and internal politics along with the interaction with diamond mining companies. The...
Algeria - Al Qaeda in the Maghreb
On the terror front, the world's attention has been trained on Iraq and Afghanistan. Yet recent developments in Algeria suggest that Al Qaeda has a renewed interest in establishing a foothold in the region, especially in the rough border terrain between Algeria, Mali and Mauritania. This is rugged country, difficult of access. In many ways a perfect staging ground for terrorism. Algeria been strangely understated in news coverage which is remarkable, given the killing spree that has been going on behind the scenes. Information is hard to come by, hardly surprising when you consider that the government routinely stifles news of terror bombings. For example numerous attacks in the Kabylei Mountain...
Canadian diamonds provide a new alternative to people who want to buy diamonds, but are not comfortable with buying pieces that are potentially "conflict diamonds." A "conflict diamond," by the UN's definition, is one mined by a non-legitimate government force in order to fund a rebellion. Additionally, some people are still concerned about the legitimate governments that deal in diamond mining and production, because there is a lot of talk about human rights violations in those circumstances as well. While production and mining has become far safer and more politically-correct in the past few years, one way to be absolutely sure that no wrong has been done by producing the diamond you buy is to...
Saddam Hussein wasn't termed the "Butcher of Baghdad" for nothing. He was a ruthless dictator who committed widespread crimes against humanity. He was responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Iraqis. He deserved to be brought to justice for his crimes. Yet, in a sharp detour from the road to justice, Saddam Hussein was hanged in what amounted to little more than yet another act of the kind of raw sectarian revenge that has come to define post-war Iraq. By handing Hussein over to be hanged even as real due process concerns persisted, the U.S. not only foreclosed the opportunity to bring Hussein to justice, but also undertook a course that will likely impose additional adverse...
id="body"> Double Standards Despite Cuba's human rights abuses, against all odds, Raúl R. Alfonsín, President of Argentina, a nation historically devastated by undemocratic leaders and military warlords, trip to Havana in the 80s. Since then, this visit was a serious setback to the fragile democratic community in Latin America. While Alfonsín --Argentina's first democratic President since the 1976 coup-- visited the Palace of the Revolution, home to Fidel Alejandro Castro Ruz -who had ruled the Island from 1959 to 2008- and the Cabaret Tropicana (according to Cuban press "the world's best cabaret" and a favorite place to friends of the Caribbean tyranny), several citizens, critics and opponents...
About Police Brutality
Whenever a law enforcement officer uses more force than necessary in restraining and controlling the offender, whether it is verbal or physical, he or she has committed a crime regarded as police brutality. While police brutality has a long history throughout the world, in the United States today it is not an acceptable procedure. It is the duty of police officers to keep the peace among the people, but by utilizing violent procedures - both physically and verbally - they are in fact doing the exact opposite of what they seek to uphold. As mentioned, police abuse includes unnecessary physical and psychological force used against another person. The most common forms of police brutality are Why does...
Violence - The Basic Human Instinct
"A leading Pakistani human rights activist may help save the lives of 17 Indians, who have been sentenced to death in March for allegedly killing a Pakistani national in Sharjah" I saw this news item in today's paper. The foremost thing I noticed was that it is a Pakistani National who is trying to save the lives of Indians. In these days of extreme hatred going practically unchecked between the two neighbor countries,- India and Pakistan - this news gave me a very pleasant feeling. Compassion is no-body's personal property. Compassion transcends all social, economic, racial, religious and national barriers. This is an example, - a human rights activists is trying to save the lives of 17 convicted...
Mary Therese Winifred Robinson or Maire Mhic Riibin in Irish was born on May 21, 1944. Robinson became the seventh President of Ireland and the first female who held the highest position in the country. She served as Ireland's President for a period of five years, from 1997 to 2002. During the 1990 presidential election, Robinson defeated Fine Gael's Austin Currie and Fianna Fail's Brian Lenihan. As an independent candidate, Robinson was nominated by the Workers' Party, Labour Party, and other independent senators and the first elected Ireland's President who won the election without receiving any support from Fianna Fail. Robinson is credited by many people for successfully revitalizing and...
For centuries, boat builders and furniture makers have preferred teak over any other hardwood because of its tight grain pattern and innate stability. Unfortunately, teak's natural advantages came at a high price. Now, the world's largest remaining teak forests are located in the country known as Burma -- a place with a hideous environmental and human rights record. Fortunately, the growing supply of plantation teak is beginning to erode Burma's grip on the teak marketplace while at the same time driving down prices. So, is a teak tree grown in say Latin America somehow inferior to the teak tree grown in Burma? Despite rumors to the contrary (often originating from those who wish to protect Asia's...
The Arrogance of Technologists - Why They...
Recent experience and and excellent article in CIO magazine have me thinking about some of the things that are wrong about the Culture of Technology. The article in CIO magazine "How to Save the Internet [ the hilarious March 28 post (India Calling) at the Landmark.org Blog (I found them because they had signed up for my "Blinking Cursor PC Security Newsletter"), my own experience with HP Technical Support and Technical Support with Western Digital about an external hard drive all have something in common. They all highlight the fact that Technologists (software and hardware companies) dont get the fact that the vast majority of their consumers are not Technologists! One of the...
Aetna - More Than Just A Health Insurance Company
Aetna is one of the biggest health insurance companies out there. It's a trusted name in health insurance service. But, it's much more than just an insurance company. Aetna started out as a small insurance company in Hartford, Connecticut, issuing its first insurance plan in 1850. Since then, it has grown to have almost 15 million members in just its medical insurance program. The company offers more than just regular health insurance. It also has prescriptions drugs, dental coverage, mental health services, long-term programs, special plans for the disabled, and health care products. Aetna is actually a giant network with all kinds of members. You can buy your insurance policy directly from...
U2 Can Make a Difference
Longevity in the fickle world of entertainment is rare and largely dependent on artists' powers of creativity and reinvention. Only a few bands and artists have the distinction and honour of maintaining their popularity and record sales for over two decades. Perhaps the most notable of those is the Rolling Stones, who are still going strong after 40 years. In comparison to the short-lived, flash in the pan careers of most of today's young artists; these music giants possess aeons of experience and appear even greater. Among these masters is a band called U2, Irish born and bred and international superstars since the mid-80s. The two most well known members of the band are Bono, lead vocalist and...
Supermullah
"In 1999, I told an audience that our failure to act decisively at the time of the Iranian hostage controversy has left us with a bitter harvest that we will one day reap, and I have never been so sorry to be so right." (Prof. J. Rufus Fears, Princeton, 2003). Seyyed Ali Hoseini Khamenei is Iran's spiritual leader and highest authority. His voice overrides all others in the hierarchy. He is widely regarded as the figurehead of the country's conservative establishment, and has repeatedly denounced the idea of talks with the United States. Particularly during and after the US-led war on Iraq, he was sharply critical of Washington's policies. Ali Khamenei succeeded Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, founder...

Second hand smoke (also known as environmental smoke) is tobacco smoke that is inhaled involuntarily by someone other than the smoker. There are two kinds of second hand smoke...
Public Relations for Clothing Stores
Running a clothing store is not easy and there are always issues where the public is concerned about where all the garments that are sold in the stores are coming from. Are they coming from China and causing the decay of American Jobs? Are the clothes being made by child labor is sweat shops working 18 hours per day? Are basic human rights being violated in the making of the clothes you are selling? Remember the public relations disaster with Nike Corp. and actually they never did anything wrong, in fact they were paying more than the going wage in the region and actually too much causing artificial inflation in the region, so in essence they should have paid much less and raised the pay more slowly...
It's Their Choice
As much as we may want to , we can't make someone else's decisions for them. Most of us can distinguish "good" choices from "bad" choices. For example we know it is better to exercise than to be a couch potato. We know that choosing to smoke is a poor choice. If someone makes the wrong choice, we do not have to "rescue" them by covering for them or making sacrifices to see they have what they lost due to a bad decision. In fact letting the person reap the consequences of a bad choice will most times have the effect of choosing more wisely the next time. When a person has a mental illness they may not be making good choices due to their state of mind. They may choose to take the money they need for...
Cotton is a widely used material and must of us are depending on cotton production in order to put clothes in our closets. But have you ever thought where it comes from and how it is produced? The fact it that over two-thirds of the world's cotton production take place in developing countries and the former Soviet Union. Unfortunately, there are many regrettable incidents taking place in the cotton fields. Child labour, human rights violations, massive environmental pollution and a major threat to human health, just to mention a few. Unfortunately, there are often slave-like conditions in conventional cotton fields. In India, children can work up to 13 hours per day for at very modest pay or no pay...
What Happens When Aliens Live Among Us? -...
In "District 9", an alien spaceship has come to rest over Johannesburg, South Africa. After an extended period of time waiting for something to happen which never does, the government decides to drill into the spaceship to try and make "first contact". In doing so, they discover that the aliens are malnourished and without a way to go home. The government decides to build a camp for the aliens, known as District 9, to house the aliens until they decide a better course of action. After 20 years, the citizens of Johannesburg have had enough of the aliens and want them moved. It becomes the charge of MNU (Multi-National United) to move them to a new home, 200km outside of Johannesburg. This is when the...
Do we dream in 3D There is no doubt that after watching a movie that has a message or provokes thought in us, that scenes or situations from that movie get mixed up with situations from our lives, and lead to vivid dreams. They are vivid because we wake up in the morning remembering them in stark detail. But do we actually dream in 3D? Asking this question may not be important, but what is important is that we *do* dream... regardless of whether we have seen a movie earlier that day or not. We dream of situations and incidents that we encounter in the real world. This gets mixed with our imagination and sub-conscious to a certain extent, but the base layer for our dreams (without being influenced by...
Indian Government Creates New Tracking System...
The Indian government is continuing to tighten up restrictions on foreign nationals. It's no surprise that, following David Headley's confession and recent revelations about the Pakistan government's involvement in terrorism in India, the first changes affect Pakistanis. From now on, every Pakistani or Pakistani-origin (no matter what passport they are carrying) applicant will be referred to the Home Ministry and/or various security agencies for verification. This screening is expected to take at least 30 days. Other categories of visa applications will also require special screening, including all employment visas. Any applicant who is felt to be suspect in any way will have his case referred...
This can't be happening. Life is supposed to be good. But all around us (US) the quality of life is turning downhill. Most of us have realized this already, watching it from the extreme comfort of our well manicured lifestyles once thought to be immune from all forms of contamination, bugs, terrorists, and the neighbor next door. Because the change is so gradual, it will only become a shock to each and every one of us at some point. We don't all get the shock at the same time. Some got it years ago, like Al Gore. To say that he was 'ahead of his time' is true, but eventually the USA and the rest of the world will 'wake up' and heed the ominous signs that have been there all along. The average person...
